Easter eggs

Last night we started out by dying the eggs we needed for Easter.

You actually did pretty well with the eggs. The kitchen floor might be blue in a couple of places, but that’s not a big deal.

Who needs the egg-holder thingy?

The egg-dying was a pretty good time. We closed up shop for the night soon after, and got some things ready for the morning.
First thing we did was hunt for your basket and eggs. You were pretty excited to find your basket.

You passed up the giant chocolate pig from Kelly’s Country Store in favor of the play-doh. An odd choice, but at least you know what you like.

You did hit the jelly beans pretty hard. Weirdest thing is that you won’t eat them – you just suck the sugar and color off of them and then spit out this white, gummy, formerly bean-like substance.

So when we decided to hide eggs for you, we didn’t know how well it would work out. We figured we would put them in places you liked jamming things into…like the DVD player.

I do have to admit that we showed you each egg had a Reese’s chocolate in it. You found all the eggs in about 2 minutes after that.

No Easter celebration is complete without an egg-cracking face off. Let me tell you something – you’ve got some little infant aggression going on. If it involves hitting or throwing or some combination thereof, you’re all over it.
